Client Support
Our Client Support team assist new and existing clients in making payments into their accounts, amending master password information and answering ad-hoc queries. The team also liaises with other departments in HL and third parties to successfully resolve client enquiries. As the first step on the Helpdesk career path, the Client Support team also assists with training new starters across all of the Helpdesk teams.
Pensions Helpdesk
Our Pensions Helpdesk team services all of our individual and corporate SIPP clients, as well as providing a retirement service. The team deal with a wide range of people – from Chartered Accountants and Financial Advisers to first-time investors, and also produce illustrations and liaise with other companies on our clients' behalf. Due to the nature of their work, they also gain knowledge of Shares, Funds, ETF's and Investment Trusts, gain an in-depth understanding of complex areas such as taxation and pension regulation.
Investment Helpdesk
Our Investment Helpdesk team's primary responsibility is to provide investment information and assistance to our loyal and respected client base. Queries are varied, at times technical and as such our days are diverse and fast-paced. The team's main duties are to answer inbound calls, explain complex rules in simple terms, reply to client letters and emails, occasionally meet clients face-to-face and liaise with third parties on our clients' behalf.
Each of our Helpdesk teams have a fantastic training programme, ensuring that our people have all of the knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. There is a clearly defined development path within each team, and progression opportunities to management level, and to other areas of the business.
